A combination of memory, metaphors, and associations that represents the director's attempt to reflect on his obsessive-compulsive disorder through his wife's perspective.The visual expression in the film constitutes a sensorial representation of obsessions: they are small from a rational and distanced perspective, but macro and imperfect from my personal perception.

Through the singularity of the small, and following the legacy of Valencia's urban art, Microcosmos is a living inventory of the mythical and the human, the natural and the created. It is a collective cry, a gesture of farewell, and a solitary tear before the relics of the lost.

Open our senses, immerse ourselves, respect and change our relationship of predatory exploitation with Nature. Look for a horizon towards the echoes of life. Listen and harmonize your own life course with the universe. Feel our interconnection with the natural world. It tries to bridge the gap between human beings and nature by immersing ourselves in it, as one more living being, and generating a common space between species. The images of the video are produced by a mixture of techniques, it is also, like the content, a hybridization, an interconnection of drawing, sculpture, filming, reality, surreality and animation.

Hallesches Tor cuenta la historia de cómo las palomas aprendieron a bailar gracias a los humanos y cómo al final celebraron una fiesta juntos. Es una película experimental porque evolucionó sin un plan ni un objetivo, simplemente experimentando con 3D, vídeo y animación para ver qué conducía. La película muestra una recreación digital de la zona de Hallesches Tor en Berlín. Se asemeja a la realidad, pero solo de forma superficial. Sin embargo, conserva la atmósfera de una zona urbana algo deteriorada donde lo inesperado puede ocurrir en cualquier momento. Aquí, humanos y animales viven su día a día hasta que misteriosos sucesos unen sus destinos.
Hallesches Tor tells the story of how the pigeons learned to dance from the humans, and how they had a party together in the end. It’s an experimental film because it evolved without a plan or goal, just experimenting with 3D, video and animation and see where it leads to. The film shows a digital recreation of the Hallesches Tor area in Berlin. It resembles reality, but only in a sketchy way. It retains however the mood of a somewhat dilapidated urban area where the unexpected might happen at any time. Here, humans and animals lead their daily lives until mysterious events bring their fates together.

Yann Marussich (58), un controvertido artista suizo, siempre ha buscado provocar con su obra radical, abordando problemáticas humanas, políticas y sociales. Durante una residencia en una antigua prisión de Montevideo, ahora transformada en un espacio de arte contemporáneo, el artista desarrolla una profunda reflexión sobre el hormigón, un material denso y pesado que simboliza la huella que los colonizadores blancos dejaron en cuerpos y territorios. Simultáneamente, imparte un taller a ocho artistas latinoamericanos que, como un espejo, comparten sus propias perspectivas sobre el mismo material, basadas en otras memorias y otras luchas. Dedicándose por completo a su trabajo, Marussich intenta sumergirse en el hormigón.
Yann Marussich (58), a controversial Swiss artist, has always sought to provoke with his radical work, addressing human, political and social issues. During a residency in a former prison in Montevideo, now transformed into a contemporary art space, the performer develops a profound reflection on concrete—a dense, heavy material that symbolises the mark left by white colonisers on bodies and territories. At the same time, he gives a workshop to eight Latin American performers who, like a mirror, share their own perspectives on the same material based on other memories and other struggles. Devoting himself completely to his work, Marussich attempts to immerse himself in concrete.

La colección de arte contemporáneo CV Colección se inicia a principios de los años noventa bajo un enfoque generacional que sirve de nexo común entre las obras, determinando una misma sensibilidad, intereses y motivaciones, dentro de la abierta constelación de posibilidades que ofrece el arte. La colección reúne así un conjunto de obras realizadas por artistas, en su mayoría nacidos en los años sesenta y setenta, que afrontan temas comunes con los que existe una empatía conceptual; un efecto que se amplía hacia creadores más jóvenes cuyas visiones proyectan reflexiones hacia el futuro.
Con independencia de la temática, la técnica, el soporte, el género o el lugar de procedencia del artista, son trabajos que se mueven dentro de prácticas conceptuales, con gran acento en la activación del pensamiento, la imaginación y los sentidos del espectador; compartiendo inquietudes y perspectivas sobre temas como la identidad, la comunicación, la memoria, el contexto sociopolítico, las migraciones, la relación entre cultura y naturaleza, los diversos tipos de transmisión del conocimiento o el propio proceso artístico, entre otros.
Varias exposiciones han aportado distintas miradas sobre la colección, ampliando y profundizando en los múltiples significados que ofrecen las obras: Los lugares de lo real, Fundación Botín, Santander (2003), Cuestión Xeracional, CGAC, Santiago de Compostela (2007), Atemporalidad, Museo de Bellas Artes, Santander (2008), Jetztzeit (el tiempo del ahora) + La Espalda del ángel y El Gabinete de un Aficionado: Historia de una Colección, Centre d’Art La Panera, Lleida (2013), Open corner. Listados poéticos de una colección, Biblioteca Central de Cantabria, Santander (2014-2015) y El mundo guarda la memoria de todos los rastros. CV Colección, Centro de Arte Alcobendas (2016).
En febrero del año 2014 la colección recibe el Premio A al Coleccionismo Privado que otorga la Fundación ARCO, Madrid.
The CV Colección contemporary art collection began in the early 1990s with a generational focus that serves as a common thread among the works, defining a shared sensibility, interests, and motivations within the open constellation of possibilities that art offers. The collection thus brings together a group of works by artists, mostly born in the 1960s and 70s, who address common themes with which there is a conceptual empathy; an effect that extends to younger creators whose visions project reflections toward the future.
Regardless of the subject matter, technique, medium, genre, or the artist's place of origin, these are works that operate within conceptual practices, with a strong emphasis on activating the viewer's thought, imagination, and senses; sharing concerns and perspectives on topics such as identity, communication, memory, the sociopolitical context, migration, the relationship between culture and nature, the various types of knowledge transmission, and the artistic process itself, among others.
Several exhibitions have offered different perspectives on the collection, expanding and deepening the multiple meanings that the works offer: The Places of the Real, Botín Foundation, Santander (2003); Generational Question, CGAC, Santiago de Compostela (2007); Timelessness, Museum of Fine Arts, Santander (2008); Jetztzeit (The Time of Now) + The Angel's Back and An Amateur's Cabinet: History of a Collection, La Panera Art Center, Lleida (2013); Open Corner: Poetic Listings from a Collection, Central Library of Cantabria, Santander (2014-2015); and The World Holds the Memory of All Traces: Collection CV, Alcobendas Art Center (2016).
In February 2014, the collection received the A Award for Private Collecting, granted by the ARCO Foundation, Madrid.
