[ESP] MUESTRA INTERNACIONAL DE CINE Y CIENCIA 2020
La Muestra Internacional de Cine y Ciencia es un evento cinematográfico que tendrá lugar en la Galería Demolden Video Project, Santander (España), del 26 al 28 de noviembre de 2020. En ella tiene cabida cualquier trabajo relacionado con la ciencia y la divulgación científica. Se admite cualquier género cinematográfico.
El objetivo de la muestra es promover la producción y la difusión de trabajos que fomenten los valores positivos y de progreso de la ciencia y tecnología, y que que sirvan de consulta para cualquier tipo de público. La temática es totalmente libre y puede hacer referencia a investigaciones propias o ajenas, temas candentes en la sociedad o comunidad científica, pasiones científico-técnicas personales, conceptos básicos de ciencia, hitos científicos, personajes históricos, la ciencia del futuro o pasado, etc.
BASES:
1. Podrán participar largometrajes y cortometrajes de todas las nacionalidades y de cualquier género (ficción, documental, animación, experimental, etc), de cualquier duración y con fecha de producción a partir del 1 de enero de 2016. Las obras que no estén en castellano deberán incluir subtítulos en castellano.
2. Fechas y plataformas de inscripción: La fecha de inicio de inscripción de cortometrajes será el 5 de noviembre y finalizará el 22 de noviembre de 2020.
3. Selección: Un comité de selección se encargará de escoger los trabajos que participarán en las proyecciones. A los seleccionados se les pedirá una copia de proyección en .mp4 o .mov que podrá enviar a través de las plataformas de inscripción o a través de un sistema de descarga digital.
4. Derechos de exhibición: Los cortometrajes seleccionados cederán los derechos de exhibición para las fechas establecidas para las proyecciones de la muestra (noviembre 2020).
Todas las obras participantes, podrán quedar a disposición del Fondo Audiovisual de Demolden Video Project, excepto si su autor/a no da su consentimiento en el formulario.
En este caso DEMOLDEN VIDEO PROJECT se reserva el derecho de reproducir las obras presentadas, citando al autor, para su visionado en medios de comunicación, al igual que proyectarlas, siempre para su uso no comercial. Los dvds presentados a concurso no serán devueltos.
5. Aceptación de las bases: La inscripción de las obras supone la aceptación de las presentes bases.

[ENG] INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION OF FILM AND SCIENCE 2020
The International Exhibition of Cinema and Science is an event that will take place at Demolden Video Project Gallery, Santander (Spain), between the 26th and 28th of November, 2020. Is admitted any work of any genre related to science and scientific divulgation.
The objective of the exhibition is to promote the production and divulgation of works that foster the positive and progressive values of science and technology, and that serve as a consultation for any type of audience. The subject is totally free and can refer to own or other people's research, hot topics in the society or scientific community, personal scientific-technical passions, basic science concepts, scientific milestones, historical figures, the science of the future or past, etc.
RULES:
1. Films and Short films of all nationalities and any kind of gender (fiction, documentary, animation, experimental, etc) can be submitted. Works of any duration and produced after January 2016. If the language it's not spanish, it will include subtitles.
2. Deadline and platforms: The date of registration of short films will be on November 5th and will end on November 22th, 2020.
3. Selection: A selection committee will be responsible for choosing the films that will participate in the projections. Those selected will have to send a copy in .mp4 or .mov format, via digital download platforms.
4. Exhibition rights: The selected short films transferred their exhibition rights to the days of contest projection (November 2020).
All the participating works may be included in the Demolden Video Project’s Audiovisual Fund, unless its author isn’t consented to when applying.
In that case DEMOLDEN VIDEO PROJECT may reserve its right of reproducing the works presented (mentioning the author), in order to be seen by the Media, and showing them, but never for a commercial use. The DVD’s presented for the competition shall not be returned to the applicant.
5. Acceptance of rules: Registration of the short films implies acceptance of these rules.
